1.4 Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from service providers, connected accounts you authorize, public websites, business-contact providers, analytics or advertising partners, and other third parties. For example, Hunter.io may return publicly available or commercially available business contact information in response to a lookup you request.

1.5 Sensitive Information

Rovena does not require Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, medical records, protected health information, or other highly sensitive information to provide the Service. Do not submit such information unless Rovena expressly requests it for a specific purpose. Resumes and job-search materials may nevertheless contain information that some laws classify as sensitive. An accessibility or accommodation request may also reveal disability- or health-related information. Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for Rovena to understand and address the request, and do not send medical records unless specifically requested. Where applicable law requires consent or imposes additional limits, Rovena will process sensitive information only as permitted by law.

2. How We Use Information

Rovena may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and administer the Service. Create and secure accounts; store and organize job-search records; generate drafts and prep sheets; run requested searches and lookups; enforce plan limits; process payments; and provide support.
  • Personalize features. Use profile information, prior interactions, preferences, and job-search history to tailor prompts, drafts, recommendations, workflows, and other Service features.
  • Develop and improve Rovena. Analyze performance and use; identify bugs; test and evaluate features; improve quality, reliability, usability, accessibility, and safety; and develop new products, features, software, systems, and business processes.

  • Communicate with you. Send transactional messages, receipts, account notices, security alerts, support responses, product updates, waitlist notices, and, where permitted, marketing communications. You may unsubscribe from promotional email, but not essential account or security messages.

  • Measure and promote the Service. Understand how people find and use Rovena, evaluate campaigns, and advertise Rovena through third-party platforms, subject to the choices described in Section 5.
  • Comply with law and protect rights. Respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, maintain records, and protect Rovena, users, third parties, and the public.

3. AI-Assisted Features and Third-Party Processing

When you use an AI-assisted feature, Rovena may transmit the User Content reasonably relevant to that request, such as job details, notes, resume text, prompts, and interview-preparation responses, to an artificial-intelligence provider such as Anthropic. Interview-preparation features may also conduct web searches using company names, interviewer names, or other information you provide.

AI providers and other service providers may process and retain information under their contracts with Rovena, their applicable terms, and their security or abuse-prevention practices. Rovena may add, replace, or remove providers as the Service evolves. Current material providers are described in Section 6.

Unless Rovena separately discloses otherwise, Rovena does not authorize an AI provider to use identifiable User Content to train a general-purpose model for the provider's independent benefit.

4. How We Disclose Information

Rovena may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. To hosting, authentication, AI, search, contact-information, payment, analytics, advertising, email, support, security, and other vendors that perform services for Rovena or help operate the Service.
  • At your direction. When you request a feature, connect an account, send information, share content, or otherwise direct Rovena to disclose information.
  • Business or organizational accounts. If you use the Service through an employer, school, or other organization, authorized administrators may have access to account, billing, or usage information as described in the applicable business agreement or notice.
  • Legal, safety, and enforcement purposes. When Rovena reasonably believes disclosure is required by law or legal process, or is appropriate to protect rights, safety, property, users, systems, or the public; investigate misuse; or enforce agreements.
  • Business transactions. In connection with financing, due diligence, a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service or business, subject to customary confidentiality protections where appropriate.
  • Affiliates and professional advisers. To affiliates and to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and other advisers who need the information for legitimate professional or business purposes.
  • Aggregated or deidentified information. Rovena may disclose information that does not reasonably identify you for analytics, research, benchmarking, product development, marketing, and other lawful purposes.

Rovena does not sell User Content, resumes, job-search records, prompts, or AI Output for money. Disclosures of website or device information to advertising partners may nevertheless be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws, as explained in Section 5.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

5.1 Necessary Technologies

Rovena uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember settings, prevent fraud, and operate the Service.

5.2 Analytics and Advertising Technologies

Rovena may use analytics and advertising technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure visits, understand how people find and use Rovena, evaluate campaigns, and promote Rovena on third-party platforms. Depending on the technology and your settings, a provider may receive page-view information, browser or device information, IP address, cookie or advertising identifiers, referring pages, and similar activity data. Rovena does not intentionally send your resume, job-search records, prompts, or AI Output to Meta for advertising purposes.

5.3 Your Choices

Where required by applicable law, you may opt out of nonessential analytics or advertising technologies, targeted advertising, or the sale or sharing of personal information through naiadllc@gmail.com. Rovena will recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by applicable law. Browser controls may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect Service functionality.

6. Current Service Providers

The providers currently used for material Service functions include:

ProviderFunctionInformation Involved

MetaAdvertising measurement and promotionWebsite and device activity, such as page views, browser information, IP address, and identifiers; not intentionally job-search content.

Rovena may change providers or add providers as the Service evolves. A provider may have its own privacy terms and may retain information for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or other purposes permitted by its agreement with Rovena.

7. Recruiter and Other Non-User Contact Information

Recruiter lookups may return business contact information about individuals who are not Rovena users. That information is obtained through providers such as Hunter.io from publicly available or commercially available sources and is shown to users for individualized, lawful job-search outreach. Rovena does not maintain a standalone recruiter directory for resale. Rovena may retain limited lookup logs or cached results as reasonably necessary to provide the feature, enforce limits, investigate abuse, improve performance, or comply with law.

A recruiter or other non-user who believes personal information was displayed through Rovena may contact us at naiadllc@gmail.com. Because lookup information comes from a third-party provider, removal at the source may require a request to that provider. Rovena will reasonably assist in identifying the source and addressing information within Rovena's control.

8. Retention, Account Deletion, and Backups

Rovena retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including while your account is active; to provide the Service; maintain security and business records; resolve disputes; comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations; and enforce agreements.

  • Account and User Content. Generally retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to complete deletion, address support or security issues, and allow normal backup rotation.
  • Payment and transaction records. Retained as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and legal compliance. Stripe may retain records under its own policies and obligations.
  • Waitlist and marketing information. Retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the information is no longer needed for the stated purpose.
  • Security and usage logs. Retained for a reasonable period based on security, fraud-prevention, operational, and legal needs.
  • Support and accessibility records. Retained for as long as reasonably necessary to address the request, verify remediation, provide follow-up assistance, improve accessibility, document compliance efforts, and resolve related disputes or legal obligations.

To request account deletion, email naiadllc@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Rovena may verify your identity and may retain information when required or permitted by law. Information may remain temporarily in encrypted or restricted backups until overwritten through ordinary backup cycles. Deletion from Rovena does not automatically delete information independently retained by a third-party provider under its own lawful retention practices.

9. Security

Rovena uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include access controls, authentication, encrypted transmission, database-level authorization rules, server-side management of provider credentials, monitoring, and vendor controls. No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely secure, and Rovena cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur. You are responsible for protecting your devices, credentials, and copies of your information.

10. Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal thresholds, exceptions, and verification requirements, you may have rights to:

  • Access and confirmation. Confirm whether Rovena processes personal information about you and obtain access to that information.
  • Correction. Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Deletion. Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions and the limitations described in Section 8.
  • Data portability. Request a copy of certain information in a usable format.
  • Opt out. Opt out of targeted advertising, qualifying sales or sharing, and certain profiling where those rights apply.
  • Withdraw consent. Withdraw consent for future processing when processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
  • Appeal.Appeal Rovena's denial of a privacy request where applicable law provides an appeal right.

Submit a request by emailing naiadllc@gmail.com. Please describe your request and provide enough information to verify your identity. Rovena may ask for additional verification, may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where allowed by law, subject to proof of authorization and identity verification.

11. Children and Teen Users

The Service is not directed to children under thirteen (13), and Rovena does not knowingly collect personal information from a child under thirteen. If Rovena learns that it has collected such information without required parental consent, Rovena will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child under thirteen has provided information, contact naiadllc@gmail.com.

A user who is under the age of majority may use the Service only with the permission and supervision required by the EULA.

12. United States Service and International Processing

Rovena is operated from the United States and is currently intended primarily for users in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Rovena or its service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred and processed as described in this Policy, subject to applicable law.

13. Changes to This Policy

Rovena may update this Policy from time to time. Rovena will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. For a material change, Rovena will provide reasonable notice through the Service, by email, or by another appropriate method and will obtain consent where required by law.
